Roles and Responsibilities for WordPress Developer Job:
- Meeting clients to discuss website design and functionality.
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website.
WordPress Developer Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP and MySQL
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, Bootstrap and jQuery.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as GIT.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Good communication skills.
- Other CMS knowledge is an added advantage
- Familiarity with RESTful API
